PRINCIPAL BASSOON BAVARIAN STATE OPERA
Since September 2009 I have been principal bassoon of the Bavarian State Orchestra in Munich. Since then I have worked with conductors like Kirill Petrenko, Zubin Mehta, Kurt Masur, and Andris Nelsons. With them, I performed the greatest, most beautiful, and most important operas, symphonies, and ballets. With Kent Nagano, I was allowed to give solo concerts with my orchestra.
In addition to concerts in the National Theatre Munich, regular tours are on the program of the Bavarian State Opera. They took me all over the world from Japan to the USA.
I am particularly proud of the Academy of the Bavarian State Opera. In recent years she has accompanied outstanding bassoonists on their way to world-famous orchestras.
LECTURER
HFM WÜRZBURG
It is with great pleasure that I accompany the work of the bassoon lecturer at the University of Music in Würzburg.
My special focus is on perfected breathing technique. A homogeneous playing and above all a natural approach to playing the bassoon. As a result, my bassoon students experience greater joy in playing while at the same time increasing technical possibilities.
Other areas of training include, in addition to getting to know the repertoire for bassoon and the associated examination of historical playing styles, reed construction and preparation for auditions.
